at a glance
Delores Quinn worked at a local department store, in the clothing department. While her life was not as exciting as the superhero kids in her town, nor was it especially kind, she did her best to work hard and get by. While girls her age had posters of the Umbrella Academy kids on their walls, she had drawings of dress designs tapped to her walls. When the girls at her school talked about hanging out together after school, she slipped away to her job; something she had lied about to get at a younger age. She had to help support her father after all. When the world came to a sudden end, she had been some how spared, though just barely. Deep in the department store basement when it all happened Delores was partly crushed under the rubble of the building, taking wounds bad enough she should have died. Miraculously however, she managed to crawl her way back to the surface of a destroyed wasteland.
Alone for some time, she tried her best not to panic. She befriended some mannequins from the department store, trying to keep herself from going insane, even talking to them as if they were really there. And then one day there was a boy; Five. No longer alone she stuck with him through the years, listening to him talk about the caused of the apocalypse, or how he wanted to figure out how to get home again. Go back in time to fix this before it even started. Delores slowly fell in love with him.

Alternate AU Ideas:
- Actually the Mannequin, but brought to life some how, a bit like "Mannequin (1987)". Five isn't losing his mind, really. - Delores is the only one alive in the aftermath and is hauling around a male mannequin herself. She's been calling it Five because it was the 5th one on the shop floor that she liked.
- Delores is actually one of the forty-three who were born on October 1989. Power: She can turn into Inanimate Objects at will. If the setting is post apocalypse, this is the reason she survived.

Fandom Ships that are okay?: Five is clearly going to be her preferred ship. While she is very Five centric (all things considered) I am open to other ships from canon. Depending on the setting, history and character development, I am open to see what happens. She is very LOYAL though so if there is a pre developed ship, she will be very hard to break from it. AKA: If she's already tied to Five, it's going to need to have great reasons for why that isn't a thing. Otherwise, completely open to other fun AU ides and all shipping! I just love writing stories.
Other Fandoms Okay?:
Yep. Cross canon is a lot of fun you know. It's all good.
Preferences:
- Depending on settings/era, she tends to be more M/F, but I am always willing to play F/F as well! Player is very open to different dynamics.
- Open to Smut, either played out or FTB.
- Slow Burn is a fav
- Open to faster ships too however
- Non/Dub-con is accepted for plots
